Jordan is in town! He is big into climbing now so we went to the climbing gym together. I don’t really have anyone to lead climb with here, and he doesn’t have anyone to lead climb with in Boston so we spent the majority of the time doing just that.
Lead climbing is where the rope is below you and you have to clip it in as you climb up. It is a little more difficult and you can fall a little farther because the rope is not going through a carabiner at the top of the climb. Lead climbing is done for tall climbs where you can't set up a rope at the top.
It was very fun lead climbing again. I think the last time I did it was in high school with Nick. I guess I like the added challenge, and the feeling that I am the first thing up and not a rope.
