Run of the Mills!
OMG, I ran it in 20:59!!! I even ran the first mile in just over 6 minutes.For the last half mile I could hear at least 3 people right behind me. I could hear their breathing, and feet pounding on the ground not more then 6 feet behind me. In the last 150 yards there was a guy about 20 feet in front of me and I really wanted to pass him. I started picking up my pace, but then so did he. So I picked it up to a near sprint and passed him. But wait, the challenge wasn't over. My eye got a hold of the clock at 20:55. I then really wanted to get less than 21 minutes. So I pushed my self even harder and jumped across the finish line to get 20:59. I nearly passed out and I had to rest for several minutes before I could go grab some food.
Later on Heidi and I went over to Kim's apartment for a BBQ. It was my first time over there, and I got a chance to meet some of Heidi and Kim's co-workers. Her apartment has a mini golf course which was pretty cool. Good times.
