Tech Ed

Ross I am in Boston for the Tech Ed conference that Microsoft throws each year. I’ll be here all week hearing about the latest and greatest technologies that Microsoft has to offer.

My flight got into Boston around 6:00 pm. I took a $35 taxi 4 miles to my hotel, the Fairmont. The Fairmont is a supper nice hotel. I felt a little wired walking in wearing blue jeans where everyone else was wearing suits in this 5 star hotel. Once I got up to my room I felt like I needed to change just so I could get out of the building.

I dropped off my luggage and met up with Jordan at a bar called the Pour House. He just had his commencement at MIT so I congratulated him on graduating. After a few beers and an amazing burger we went over to the Barking Crab. After a few beers and some amazing shrimp and calamari we went over to a party that Jordan’s friend was having. After a few beers and some amazing beer pong we went over to Jordan’s Frat house. After a few beers, some foosball, some pool, and some kick boxing, I went to bed. Jordan and I had a ton of fun and it was really nice hanging out with him again.

Another reason why I love General Mills is that they are paying for my whole trip. That includes taxis, hotel, airfare, and food.
