While a group of us were eating dinner at Granit City, Rob mentioned that he reads blogs via RSS feeds. So I said as a joke that I could add one to my site if that's what it took to get Rob to read my blog. We laughed a little. However, Paul was the only one that knew that I might have been serious.

I added it. Mostly because I always thought it would be a cool feature to have. Plus I got to learn how RSS feeds work.

RSS are feeds that you can subscribe to. You can commonly see them on news sites and blogs. They let you know when content has been updated and it gives you little summaries.
