Biking Around Medicine Lake
We live only 2 blocks from Medicine Lake. So in an effort to train for my upcoming 5K, I attempted to bike around it in 30 minutes. This was a bad idea for my first time. I had no idea what kind of distance I was dealing with, and I had no idea where I was going. I only made one wrong turn, which wasn't fun because it was up a big hill. In the end I ended up getting home in 40 minutes. I should be able to get it down to 30 min without a problem, assuming I don’t make a wrong turn again.Heidi and I got our Mug Club cards at Granite City. It was only $10 and it pays for itself just after a few trips. We went with a group of people from work. There were about 15 of us. Good food. I’m surprised I didn't here about this place sooner.
