Family Time
Heidi and I started out the day by going over to my parent’s house for a mini family reunion. Mark and Lore came in from out and we don't get a chance to see them that often so it was a good excuse to have a party and see everyone.Towards the end a few of us decided to try clay pigeon shooting with my dads over and under shotgun. (They own 40 acres of land in Grant so they can shoot from just out side their backdoor!) Uncle Tom went home as the King with 3 for 3, and Aunt Lara was the Queen going home with 3 for 4. I always find it ironic when Lara shoots a gun because she is the animal lover in the family
After seeing my family we went out to dinner with Heidi's family. All in all it was a good day to see the family on both sides, and to eat a lot of tasty and free food.
Our cat, Marvin, must have got an obsession with the flowers that I got Heidi, because now Marvin has pollen all over his white face. He tries to look innocent, but he has totally been caught red handed, or should I say yellow faced. Wow, even I didn’t know that I could make jokes that bad.
