I had my first day of work today at General Mills. It went great. I basically spent the day updating WinXP and then installing the new Visual Basic 2005 with .NET 2.0. I realized today that I am going to be one of three developers working with .NET 2.0 in my department which is awesome to be working on the new stuff.

I spend a good 45 minutes getting to work which make realize even more that Heidi and I need to move. I bet it could be over an hour on a bad day. We will probably start looking for a place in the Bloomington area. I don’t think we would move until the spring or summer but it would be a good idea to start looking to get a better idea what we want.

I guess it was Heidi's first day of work also but she’ll have to tell you about it.
