Internet Explorer breaking out from the standard
Wow Rog, you uncovered an interesting bug. This is why I love to have people playing around with my website and submitting bugs.He told me that on his user page / profile he was unable to upload a .jpeg image. After a little research, I found out that apparently if you use Internet Explorer to upload a .jpeg, Internet Explorer changes the mime type to pjpeg. This is a problem because .pjpeg is not a valid extension for images. I added a line of code to replace .pjpeg with .jpeg. So now at last all you IE users can upload a picture of yourself. I didn’t notice the bug because I primarily use Firefox.
On a side note, Firefox now has 25% of the browser market and still growing. Internet Explorer 6 is still in the lead with 61% but is slowly loosing its market share. When Firefox first came out 18 months ago, IE had 80% of the market.
