So my Mom's, 50th, birthday is on the 21st. But since Dad, Tyler, Nikki, Heidi, and I all work (or have school), she figured Saturday would work best for us all getting together. We went to Rudy’s Redeye Grill in WBL. I changed it up this time and got the salmon, which I recommend. There is going to be an official birthday bash for her next weekend where we are getting the extended family together to harass and bug her.

Joe Fessler called me up for a little gathering over at his newer house. Heidi and I had a good time hanging out with him and his gang. Heidi especially liked it because she got to play one of her favorite games, Scattergories. It was nice to catch up with Joe after not really getting a change to hang out with him much this past summer. I think the last time I saw him was at his last ever hip hop performance. This is kinda funny because his group is going to do a benefit show even though they "retired". (I think it was just a ploy to get more people to show up at their "last" show.)
