A trip to the 80's
After work my department and I went out for happy hour to celebrate our now X manager’s new opportunity. My old manager is switching to a different group and we now have a new manager. I think General Mills moves people around a little more so they can develop skills in different areas. I too will probably try 3 different positions in the next 5 years.After happy hour I went to my 7:00 game. This was our first game of the session and I got a hat trick. However we still ended up with a tie, 4 to 4.
After my soccer game I picked up Dale and we went to Rochester for an 80’s party. Lisa and Jason (friends from college and IBM) were throwing it at their apartments. I also had bought some 80’s clothing for a previous 80's party this past summer so it was a good opportunity to get my money's worth out of it. I also got a chance to see Mark K, and get a rematch out of him in foosball. Last time I was in Rochester he beat me, but this time I pulled out on top. I guess we'll have to see what happens next time Mark.
After the 80's party, Joe V and I attempted to beat Monkey Ball 2. We were doing really well and we got part way through world 7 before we fell asleep. If only we had some Red Bulls...
