Heidi owes me $5000
That's right. She owes me $5000 and I’m righting it here which is better then righting it in stone (and a whole lot easier). The deal was that her windshield wipers, and the windshield washer fluid wouldn’t work. I told her I could fix it at any time and that it wouldn't take long. She got annoyed and said she would give me $5000 if I fixed it less then 30 minutes. So I walked out to her car (with no tools), swapped out the 15 amp fuse that was burnt out, and walked back up to the apartment in about 5 minuets. Granted we are getting married so she is really going to be just giving $5000 to herself. Maybe I’ll never get the $5000, but it sure is easy getting her to pay for dinner when I remind her what she owes me. Heidi and I measured out 3.1 miles with my car. So we not have a route that we can practice for race day. We ran it slow and consistent and still shaved 5 minutes off of Heidi’s last time. Running in pairs definitely motivates you to run a little faster.
